Huma Abedin asks judge to expose FBI Director James Comey’s secrets

Eleven days before the election, FBI Director James Comey released a vague letter aimed at convincing voters that he was reopening an investigation into Hillary Clinton‘s emails, only to have it exposed as instead being an unrelated investigation into former Congressman Anthony Weiner. Comey is now widely viewed as having rigged the election against Clinton. But now longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who is married to Weiner, is seeking legal action aimed at exposing Comey’s malfeasance.

The legal action against Comey began when Holocaust attorney Randol Schoenberg sued the FBI in the hope of forcing Comey’s warrant to be made public. As the warrant is likely to have nothing to do with Hillary Clinton whatsoever, its release would serve to underscore the dishonest impropriety of Comey’s actions. And now Huma Abedin is joining that legal battle, asking the judge in question to make the warrant public.

Abedin says that neither she nor her estranged husband Weiner was ever given access to the warrant in question, as reported by Newsweek, in violation of their civil rights. Comey already tacitly admitted his deceit when he quietly released a followup letter acknowledging that Clinton was not being investigated, but by that time the narrative of the election had already shifted.

The judge in question was already considering making Comey’s warrant public, and had already demanded that it be delivered to him so he could study it, according to earlier Reuters reporting. But with Huma Abedin now joining the legal effort to expose the warrant, and positioning herself as an aggrieved party, it could increase the odds that the judge makes the warrant public.
